Event Description:
Stepping into the role of a new manager or supervisor can be overwhelming on many levels.  Leadership and communication are often a huge part of the process but what about personal liability?  This course will cover wage and hour issues, leave of absences, hiring and termination processes as well as discrimination and harassment issues that aren’t singularly a liability to the company, but can also be potential personal liability for a manager or supervisor.

This event has been pre-approved by HRCI for 2 General HR Credits toward aPHR, PHR and SPHR.

This course is being offered through the generous support of the San Diego Workforce Partnership.

Please understand, due to the high demand of these free courses, we need to ensure that registered attendees are present at the classes.  If you are not able to make it, send us a quick email to info@sdeahr.org so we can open a space for someone else. No-shows without proper cancellation will be dropped from any future events in the series.
