Managing leave of absences in California is tricky enough but when the leave is related to pregnancy, it gets even trickier. All employers with 5 or more employees are subject to the provisions of California’s Pregnancy Disability Leave (PDL) and larger employers with 50+ employees have to comply with PDL, FMLA, CFRA, and PFL.
